The 6B4Gs are less impressive when lit.
These 6A5Gs are from a box of 50 matched tubes found in a warehouse. Sylvania made them back in 1943. I bought 8 of them, so I would have some. I hope to light a pair off on their 100th anniversary.
Keeping the rest of the tube com0liment the same, the hum went away. Proves to me the value of the indirectly heated cathode in the 6A5G
